Days Inn by Wyndham Amarillo East

Nice location, clean rooms, clean showers professional staff. Polite and courteous. Stay there when that area, it has been newly remodeled. Very nice place to rest after travels or before travel. Good, clean, convenient, and good location.

Hotel under renovation and work is ongoing. Room was clean but some light switches were not reconnected, breakfast area was clean and well stocked, old curtains in visible windows and used mattress piled by dumpster did not help outward appearance.

Upon arrival, the parking lot really needs maintenance, but the hotel itself appears to be well maintained. Once inside, the lobby is clean, clear of clutter and debris, and inviting. The check-in process was quick and easy. The elevator ride to the second floor was smooth. We had only one problem with the room and that was quickly remedied. The bed was was comfortable, which was well appreciated. The room was clean. You can see the signs of a long and high trafficked hotel, but comfortable and clean is paramount. The breakfast was minimal and had little to offer in our opinion, but we found something we could live with. We had a nice quiet and comfortable stay.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Days Inn in Amarillo. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure everything was comfortable during my visit. My room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and everything I needed was available, including a microwave, fridge, and good Wi-Fi. The bathroom was clean, with plenty of towels and hot water. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast—there were several options including waffles, cereal, yogurt, and fresh coffee. Parking was easy, and I felt safe at the property throughout my stay. It’s a great value for the price, especially if you're traveling through the area or staying for a short visit. I would definitely recommend Days Inn Amarillo to anyone looking for a reliable, clean, and affordable place to stay. I’ll be happy to return on my next trip.

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful! The place was very, very nice — clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere made us feel relaxed and welcomed. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Hotel under construction. Door handle fell off in my hand when walking out 1st time. Manager fixed immediately. 2nd room was missing the door plate that held thw door secure, so door was easily shake when shut. But could be closed completely from the inside.

We stayed here the night of Friday October 10th, the first day of our 9 day road trip to the grand canyon from Missouri and back up through Utah and Colorado. We were originally going to camp but all camp sites in the area were filled up so we got this very cheap room, I believe i paid $69 total. Wasn't expecting much from a 2 star hotel. The room was very clean, had nice clean towels and toiletries and everything worked perfectly, I was very pleasantly surprised as this was probably the cheapest hotel room I've ever gotten. We arrived very late (1am) and checked out early as we had to drive all the way across New Mexico the next day. Because of the rush, my autistic daughter forgot her Ducky in the room, this is an extremely old worn out stuffed animal that she has had for 9 years and means everything to her. She noticed it was gone when we had driven over 2.5 hours away and we could not go back as it would have thrown off the entire trip. My daughter was unbelievably devastated as you might imagine. We called the hotel and the receptionist lady was so incredibly nice, she went to the room and found my daughter's beloved Ducky and she went extremely above and beyond by shipping it to our home and only charged us the $7 shipping fee. My daughter was so happy and overjoyed to find her Ducky awaiting her at home when we returned from our road trip. Thank you so much staff from Days Inn by Wyndham Amarillo East. If we are in the area ever again we will definitely stay here again.

I was in a really rough spot with a now prior best friend and for safety reasons I had to leave his house early AM. Wyndham hotels have always treated me well and I called to see when check in time was as I was very tired on 2 hours of sleep. The manager, Justin, told me 3 but listened to my situation and invited me to come on over and he'll take care of me. I travel though Amarillo at least a couple of times a year and thanks to the outstanding customer service he exemplified by going above and beyond, he's secured a customer to this location. Thank you!
